National Sales Manager


Responsible for supporting and expanding the company's sales and marketing efforts to existing and prospective business clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with current and prospective customers and fostering a strong relationship as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Prospect for potential new customers utilizing self-developed methodologies, as well as, company provided tools and resources.
  • Qualifies potential account based on company parameters and criteria
  • Collaborate with Internal Marketing Team and Client Relations Team to determine necessary strategic sales targets and approaches.
  • Prepare marketing/sales presentations for online presentation to current and potential customers and deliver through webinar and other digital methodologies.
  • Follows through with sale initiation presentation through scheduling personal appointments, online communication and other activities, commencing with sale closure.
  • Responsible to verify customer technical and business requirements and work with sales and consulting practice leadership to ensure viability of all deals and business development strategy.
  • Expands sales in existing accounts through the identification of needs to be met, followed by the development and recommendation of new products, applications and services.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues in collaboration with Client Relations in handling post sale customer support.

Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with Pipeline or other CRM systems:
    • Small businesses
    • Agents (both existing and new)
    • Affinity Groups
    • Inbound Current and Potential Customer Sales Calls
    • External Prospecting
    • Alternative Distribution Channels
    • LinkedIn Outreach
  • Required Education: High School Graduate - Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in account development, cold calling, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and call control.
  • 2-3 years of direct work experience in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations or related business development role.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
