Property & Casualty Client Advisor


Careington's Benefit Solutions P&C Sales division will be a specialized team of driven sales consultants that will offer a variety of property and casualty insurance solutions to members and other prospective customers. Client Advisors will consult with customers to identify their auto, home, and other personal insurance needs and custom tailor solutions to fit. Client Advisors will be responsible for outbound follow-up and prospecting activities as well as handling inbound call volume.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Place outbound calls to prospective individuals and other qualified leads (no cold calling).
  • Efficiently handle a large quantity of inbound sales calls while making outbound calls.
  • Utilize consultative sales practices to provide customized quotes, sell value, overcome objections, and pursue a one-call-one-close outcome where possible.
  • Manage and track customer requests for follow-up as required.
  • Ensure all phone calls are answered timely and quotes are completed accurately and delivered as efficiently as possible.
  • Be a licensed Property & Casualty Agent. Learn, understand, and retain specific policy coverage information for multiple carriers across multiple States.
  • Work with team to exceed goals and metrics set forth by management including sales per week, quotes per week, calls per day and per week, handle time, and customer satisfaction.
  • Be an active problem solver to help the organization improve workflows and efficiency of the team.

Careington Benefit Solutions currently has a position open in Property & Casualty division for a Client Advisor to work from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Mon - Fri. with alternating Saturdays.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Phone Sales Experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Exert a high level of energy, drive, and enthusiasm
  • Must be a self-motivator with a desire to add value to the day to day operations of the department
  • Commission Driven

  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Must be able to accurately retain sales campaign knowledge and apply learned sales tactics
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with others when appropriate
  • Impeccable communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Must have professional phone demeanor and superb listening skills
  • Must be extremely organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to easily adapt to departmental changes
  • Have a strong desire to meet the department's overall goals

Education, Experience & Software:

  • Property & Casualty licensed Agent preferred but not initially required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required
  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Applications. Specifically, Microsoft Excel
  • Interest and experience in both inbound and outbound sales calls
