The Learning & Development Manager will act as the subject matter expert and internal consultant to deliver on projects that improve the people, processes and systems that support a learning and coaching culture. The L & D Manager will assist in growing a learning and behavioral performance-based coaching organization through identifying business process gaps & learning needs.

The L & D Manager will work to develop our remote worker program & develop career progression for all team members, while collaborating with HR.  This role will build and grow a learning and coaching culture that values urgency, accountability, customer centricity & collaboration.

This position is critical in building relationships & culture, customer & employee retention, as well as team member growth and development.

  • Build training calendars and schedule staffing.
  • Supervise the training of personnel & Help Desk (Lead agents)
  • Develops, implements and evaluates training modules, lesson plans and outlines.
  • Develops new training courses associated with the introduction of new products/services.
  • Reports current trends and makes recommendations for improvement through coaching and/or training.
  • Identify specific performance needs to increase customer satisfaction and drive process improvements; continuously validate internal and external customer satisfaction indices.
  • Ensures training procedures, standards, documentation and reporting are maintained, updated and in compliance with performance standards.
  • Prepares reports for management, clients or others as needed.
  • Coach and guide the professional development of all team members to ensure team goals and strategies are achieved.
  • Manage site projects with minimal supervision.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Training Management experience or 3+ years in Training or Learning and Development
  • Strong understanding and application adult learning principles
  • Virtual Training

Skills

  • Strong business leadership background including experience leading people leaders.
  • Flexibility - scheduling and delivering training may need to occur on off shifts.
  • Ability to travel (as business requires) and availability to adjust schedule based on business needs
  • Training to all levels of the organization
  • Concise and effective communication across the organization
  • Willingness to take on new challenges from inception to delivery/ reporting
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, open-space office with multiple shifting priorities.
