Strategic Partnerships Specialist


The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will play an integral role in growing the clientele base for the Strategic Markets Department, an emerging vertical for Careington, by developing and consistently engaging a network of external consultants, brokers, agents, vendors, etc. that will promote our products and services. Outbound (warm and cold) phone calls, participating in networking events, attending local and national conferences and seminars, overseeing marketing campaigns, utilizing LinkedIn and other business networking tools, building a rapport with existing clients and prospects to identify potential external partnerships and other networking activities will be the Specialist's primary methods of forming partnerships that will move the Strategic Markets department into the forefront of the industries we serve.

  • Base hourly rate plus commission

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identifies partnership opportunities to increase Launch Loyalty exposure to dental offices
  • Negotiate agreements and commission arrangements with partners
  • Builds rapport with partners & their dental practice clients via constant ongoing communication
  • Schedules and performs demos for decision makers
  • Explains the benefits of an in-house discount plan
  • Overcomes objections to close the sale
  • Outbound phone sales
  • Attend and exhibit at conferences to network and sell in person
  • Responsibilities will morph as the department and industry

Education and Experience

  • Sales and/or networking experience preferred
  • Strong phone skills and drive to make over 30 calls a day
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Solutions driven individual with ability to see the bigger picture
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Organized, self-starter, who can work autonomously without being micromanaged
  • Ability to travel
