Implementation Specialist


Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned internal or external projects. Monitors, updates, follows up on overall progress and tasks of assigned project throughout the implementation process: create task list, monitor tasks, ensure project schedule is being met, identifies risks and escalates information as needed, and providing reporting of project status. Ensures project deliverables are understood at inception and are completed as planned and ready for launch. Leads & documents various project meetings throughout the process to ensure smooth implementation and transition to operations.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and managing the projects from inception to implementation
  • Ensures the project is properly scoped, documented & executed for a smooth transition to standard operational processes
  • Communicates expectation of project goals and timeline utilizing standard tools & methodology
  • Creates tasks and deliverables for internal and external action items, then ensures follow up for timely completion across the various departments and stakeholders
  • Facilitates and/or participates in project meetings involving customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to gather/define requirements & expectations and drive the project forward
  • Provide regular project status reporting to both internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Pro-active and detail oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in project management tools or task management software preferred

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1+ year experience as Business Analyst or Project Manager preferred
  • Helpful but not required to have experience managing projects within a Creative environment (communications, marketing, web development)
  • Helpful but not required to have experience managing projects with/within IT environments (landing pages, testing, web enrollments, portals)
